We hope you will join us for our Unity in CommUnity March and Rally for Peace & Justice. This gathering is very important for both adults and especially our youth. Being a part of a large gathering of our diverse community in celebration together demonstrates our commitment and respect for inclusion.
We'll have music, dance, poetry, food, sign-making materials, and lots of fun activities for the children!
We will start with the Rally! A great big kick off as we gather and ready ourselves for the March!
And we'll march...not very far but from the Plaza to 6th Street and University Avenue and back to the Plaza. We'll march with banners, megaphones, flags and signs reflecting the theme and cheering each other on.
When we get back to Bo Diddley we will come together and plant a Peace Pole.
The afternoon will find us in the midst of several wonderful performances on stage. It will be fun for all!
