Unity Festival 2025 – A Celebration of Culture, Music & Community

Join us for the Unity Festival, a powerful collaboration between Freedomtainment and Casa de la Cultura – South Omaha, happening Saturday, August 30th, 2025, from 7 PM to 10 PM at the iconic Gene Leahy Mall Pavilion in downtown Omaha.

This free, family-friendly event brings communities together through music, culture, and unity—headlined by none other than five-time GRAMMY Award winner CeeLo Green, delivering an unforgettable live performance.

The evening will be hosted by Felicia Casher, M.Ed., also known as Withlove, Felicia, whose vibrant energy will guide the night’s celebration. Supporting acts include the soulful sounds of Chad Stoner, the high-energy moves of Marcos Eduardo's Latino Music Explosion, and the powerhouse vocals of Enjoli & Timeless—all representing the rich diversity and talent of our local and regional artists.

Thomas DeCarlo Callaway-Burton (born May 30, 1975),[2] known professionally as CeeLo Green (or Cee Lo Green or simply Cee-Lo), is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, record producer, and actor. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Green came to initial prominence as a member of the Southern hip hop group Goodie Mob in 1991. Following three studio albums with the group, he subsequently began a solo career and released two modestly successful albums for Arista Records: (2002) and (2004). He is known for his soul-infused delivery in hip hop and R&B, displayed in his signature song "Crazy" (with Danger Mouse as "Gnarls Barkley")

​Chad Stoner is a celebrated saxophonist, bandleader, and community leader based in Omaha, Nebraska. Known for his soulful, jazz-infused sound, he leads the Chad Stoner Band, a staple in Omaha’s live music scene.

Chad’s performances are marked by a deep connection with his audience, often blending his musical talents with messages of hope and unity. His commitment to community engagement and his ability to inspire through music make him a standout figure in Omaha’s cultural landscape.

Marcos Eduardo Mora Barrientos, a third-generation Mexican American born in Los Angeles and raised in South Omaha, Nebraska, is a prominent figure in Omaha's Latino community

"Latino Music Explosion" is one of Marcos's signature events, showcasing the vibrant rhythms of Latin America, including cumbia, bachata, and norteño. The ensemble features a dynamic lineup of South Omaha's finest musicians.

Enjoli & Timeless is a dynamic R&B/Soul band based in Omaha, Nebraska, led by the captivating vocalist Enjoli Mitchell. Affectionately known as "The Voice of the Street," Enjoli's rich, sultry vocals have resonated with audiences since the release of her debut album, Set the Mood, in 2013. Her 2017 hit single "Thinking" marked a pivotal moment, leading to the formation of the band Timeless
