United We Stand: Human Trafficking Conference

Are you passionate about combating sex trafficking? Join us on Friday, April 26th to deepen your knowledge and response capabilities by learning the scope of the issue, identification strategies and survivor-centered care.

This conference will be held in-person at the Nebraska Innovation Campus Auditorium and online via Zoom.

In-person registration is $20 and includes lunch. Online registration is $10. Both registrations are donations to I've Got A Name, a 501c3 nonprofit organization committed to end sex trafficking in Nebraska.

With special guest speaker: Theresa Flores!

Theresa is a national motivational speaker, founder of The SOAP Project nonprofit, best selling author of “The Slave Across The Street” and has a popular TEDx talk about her survival as a human trafficking victim.

Her heart retching, shocking and gripping true story is of an all-American teenager, who survived two years of being a sex slave while living at home in an upper middle class Michigan suburb.

Out of shame, guilt, and fear of what would happen to the rest of her family, Theresa stayed silent. Now, she speaks out on the reality of how this is a silent epidemic across U.S. inner cities to upper class neighborhoods.
