A celebration of the distinct, undeniable, and wickedest underground sounds of the United Kingdom. For this edition: Junglist January. These selectors will be bringing a heated selection of uk rollers, jungle, liquid and drum and bass and hardcore breaks.

Downbeat resident, Rhythmicon will start the night with a selection of old school liquid and hardcore breaks, then on to Dan Snakehead who’s “Nocturnal Emissions” radio show and ruff neck antics behind the decks has garnered him an international following. Closing the night we have local Jungle star “Rooks” who’s rugged selection and mixing style will send the night into the stratosphere.

This is a night built for bass lovers, two-steppers, ravers, and anyone who craves the irresistible energy of the UK scene.

More than a club night — United Sound is a growing community. It’s a gathering place where diverse musical styles meet, where both newcomers and long-time ravers are welcome, and where connections are made through rhythm, culture, and the shared love of low-end frequencies.

Founder of Nocturnal Emissions, Canada's most prominent Drum & Bass radio broadcast since 2020. He has single handedly organized and raised more than 20K for local and global charities through event production of more than 100 events. A globally recognized radio personality and curator/supporter of countless well known up & comers both local and global. Dan Snakehead's signature vocal D&B focuses on heart wrenching melodies and emotional deliveries. A human encyclopedia of drum & bass with unparalleled dedication to research, crate digging, and finding the absolute freshest D&B bar none.

Victoria’s resident sound system selector Rhythmicon started his record collection in the late 90’s; spending two and a half decades forming his unique style. Since then he has been at the core of the bass music scene on Vancouver Island, hosting club nights, radio shows, and collaborating with the community to build and support the scene.

Rhythmicon has shared the stage with taste makers like Zed Bias, Mumdance, Pinch, Kahn, Sam Binga, Breakage, and Caspa. He received DJ support on his production work from the legendary Skream.
