Unite Against Violence: No More Empty Shoes

Alongside the NSW Vigil Collective, Lou’s Place is co-hosting ‘Empty Shoes’, a vigil to honour and remember the women who have lost their lives to Domestic and Family Violence in 2024. The installation will feature one pair of shoes for every woman who has lost her life to domestic or family violence in Australia in 2024. The Vigil will be held from 8am - 1pm. Speeches and the reading of the names of those who have lost their lives will start at 12pm. This is a free event open to all.
