Our company has been designing upcycled bags for years. Our most successful is the Monika bag. We are happy to share with you our experience and knowledge on how to make one for yourself from picking your own fabrics and design, to sewing it with our expert help. We will help you with the execution of the bag and most of all, to have fun!Some skills that you will learn:
How to design your Monika bag
How to cut the fabric
How to sew heavy fabrics
How to make the straps
How to sew the bottom
How to finish it professionally
Experience with a sewing machine would be useful. If you are not familiar with the machine, you could take part in our Sewing Machine Skills workshop first which teaches you the basics. In order to keep the class focused on everyone’s personal needs, we are only taking on 5 students. All materials and equipment are supplied for the lessons. You could bring your own fabric choice if you wish.
