Mark your calendars for the Union Township Fireworks Celebration on Saturday, September 13th! This community event includes Touch-A-Truck from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and a Block Party beginning at 6 p.m. Bring your family and friends for a firework show presented by Rozzi’s Famous Fireworks at approximately 8:45 p.m. The event takes place along Eastgate South Drive, in partnership with RJ Cinema Distillery & Taproom, Jungle Jim’s International Market, and Crossroads East Side.
TOUCH-A-TRUCK
Explore a variety of Union Township Fire, Service and Police Department vehicles as well as local organizations’ vehicles. From 5 to 6:30 p.m., you’ll get an opportunity to sit in the driver’s seat and be up close to vehicles like a fire truck, police cruiser, and snow plow.
BLOCK PARTY
RJ Cinema Distillery & Taproom, Jungle Jim’s International Market, and Crossroads East Side will host activities along the entire block including vendors, food trucks, inflatables, live music and more.
RJ Cinema Distillery & Taproom
RJ Cinema will have several food and drink tasting stations in their front yard. RJ Paradise Pavilion, behind RJ Cinema, features a full bar and menu and will be hosting live music throughout the event. RJ Craft BBQ Restaurant full dinner menu is available indoors and outdoors. If you’re looking for indoor activities, enjoy the latest films in the air-conditioned, comfortable theaters. Come early, secure your parking spot, and relax with a movie before the evening festivities begin.
• All afternoon movies end 30 minutes before fireworks.
• Bonus late-night movies start 20 minutes after the fireworks, so you can avoid traffic and keep the night going!
Join friends and family outside on RJ Cinema’s front lawn for live music presented by RJ Cinema and Coca-Cola:
• Jordan Alan Jackson / Reboot Ruckus – family-friendly entertainment on the front lawn
• Games & Activities – cornhole, giant Connect 4, and more
• Quick Eats – food booths with easy meals for families on the go
After 6 p.m., RJ Paradise Pavilion is the ultimate hang out for those 21 and up.
• Bar opens at 4 p.m., live music on the outdoor stage starts at 5 p.m.

• Beer truck, concession vendors, premium bourbons, and cigar-friendly atmosphere
• Dinner from RJ Craft BBQ delivered to your table
• Leading up to the fireworks, live music features Hillary Hahn, Ronnie Vaughn, and Meaghan Richardson
• After the firework show: The Front Rose keeps the party going until 11 p.m.
Jungle Jim’s Movie Night
This year, step into 50 years of imagination as Jungle Jim’s opens their vault and shares never-before-seen footage from their 50-year journey. For one night only, all non-retail digital displays inside Jungle Jim’s Eastgate will transform into your ticket back in time—showcasing video from where the dream of the Jungle first began.
Bring the family before the fireworks, and explore the world of food while enjoying a cinematic look at Jungle Jim’s history. Come for the nostalgia. Stay for the adventure.
Crossroads East Side
Crossroads East Side has opportunities and amenities for all ages from 6 to 8 p.m.! Enjoy face painting, balloon art, an obstacle course inflatable, giveaways, raffle prizes, and more!
FIREWORKS
NEW this year – enjoy a drone show in celebration of Jungle Jim’s International Market celebrating 50 years. You are encouraged to watch the fireworks and drone show from Eastgate parking lot locations. The fireworks and drone show will begin at approximately 8:45PM! Listen to the soundtrack on 107.1 FM.
