The Union County Teen Summit on Youth Violence is a powerful, FREE community-centered event designed to bring together teens, parents, and community leaders for an open and honest conversation about the challenges facing our youth today.Hosted by M.A.R.C.U.S. (Mothers Advocating for Real Change and Unwavering Support) in partnership with the Monroe Police Department, this summit creates a safe and structured space where young people can share their voices, experiences, and perspectives—and be heard by those who are in positions to create change.
This event will address critical issues impacting our community, including:
--Youth violence
--Peer pressure and conflict
--Gang involvement
--Bullying
--Mental health
Teens will have the opportunity to:
--Speak openly in a supportive environment
--Serve as panelists or active participants
--Engage directly with community leaders and law enforcement
