UNIFY USA Flag Run, Washington DC
About this Event
Run or walk with hundreds of Americans carrying the flag through the heart of our nation's capital.
On Saturday, August 8 we meet at the Lincoln Memorial at 6pm and carry American flags together. Every pace, every age, every American welcome. It is not a race. Nobody gets left behind. Some run, most walk, and everyone leaves better than they came.
What to expect
- 6:00 PM. Meet at the Lincoln Memorial. Look for the flags, you can't miss us
- A quick welcome from Teagan and Koston, then we get flags in hands and move out together
- The first mile, everyone moves together as one group
- Then the runners go ahead for a 3 mile route while the walkers finish a 2 mile route
- Everyone meets back up at the end and we finish together, right where we started
- Photos, new friends, and more American flags than you have ever seen in one place
What to bring
- An American flag if you have one. We bring extras, first come first served
- Water and comfortable shoes
- Kids, parents, grandparents, friends. Bring anyone you love
It's free
Every UNIFY USA event is free and always will be. If you want to chip in, the donation tickets help cover flags, permits, and water, and they keep this movement rolling to the next city. Give what feels right or just show up. Showing up is what matters.
Who we are
UNIFY USA is a movement to stand up to the division and bring Americans back together. It started with two brothers and a flag, and it has grown into flag runs across the country. Orlando, Nashville, New York City, and now Washington DC.
