Every year on October 1st, International Raccoon Appreciation Day encourages people to learn more about raccoons and show appreciation for them. To commemorate this meaningful occasion, we proudly present our first virtual race in honor of the raccon. Join our Unhinged and Feral 5K, 10K, 13.1, 26.2!

We believe in giving back and will be donating 15% of each registration to Ringtail Rescue and Sanctuary. They are dedicated to providing compassionate care and rehabilitation for orphaned and injured wildlife (including raccoons) in our community. We are a nonprofit organization focused on helping make the world around us a better, happier place for orphaned, abandoned and injured wildlife.

- Races can be completed at any time during 2026, providing flexibility to participants. Even better if you complete it on October 1st, International Raccoon Appreciation Day!

- Choose your preferred distance from 5K, 10K, 13.1, or 26.2, catering to all fitness levels and aspirations.

- This virtual event welcomes participants of all ages, making it a fantastic opportunity for families and individuals to join together in celebration.

- A percentage of your race registration fees will be donated directly to the Ringtail Rescue and Sanctuary *We are in no way affiliated with this charity, we like to choose a different charity for each of our races and are happy to raise funds for them.

What is a Virtual Race?

A virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, at the gym or on the track (or even at another race). You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. Running and walking on your own, or with friends! And your medal will be shipped directly to you. Complete a virtual 5Ks, 10K, half marathon and more!

For each of our virtual races, we choose a charity to donate a portion of each registration to. We’ve already raised more than $1,00,000 for charities from our many different virtual races! Our goal is to continue to help different charities around the world.
