York's own Unforgettable Big Band is bringing the big band sound home, and we mean that literally.This Father's Day and summer solstice, we're proud to be part of Make Music Day York County, performing live in the stunning lobby of the Yorktowne Hotel, one of York's most treasured historic venues and the same stage where we had the honor of performing at their grand reopening gala. (And yes--Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra are watching from the wall. No pressure!)
It's the perfect pairing: a venue dripping in history and elegance, and York's two-time award-winning big band playing the music that belongs there: classic swing, jazz standards, and all the big band magic that made the greats legendary.
