It's no secret that salon professionals spend a lot of time contorting their bodies to ensure their client's experience is perfect. Whether that's time on your feet, reaching around, shifting your weight, leaning, folding, crouching, and squatting. When our hips aren't functional, it affects our entire body. This class is dedicated to your hips....buttery smooth, strong, capable hips! We'll move through ways to stretch, strengthen, and stabilize our hips, so you can do your job pain free for years to come. Students who attend this class will be offered a discounted rate for one-on-one mobility sessions customized for your body's needs.

About Jenny Coffey:
Jenny is passionate about movement and found her way to a yoga mat in 2006. In 2015 she took her first 200-hour teacher training, studying under Josie Schweitzer, and dove into teaching other students. After years of a consistent yoga practice, she started to notice pain points and injuries in her body that were occurring as a result of repetitive use. When we do the same physical activity over and over again without strengthening the tissues around the joint, over time, discomfort and injuries can and will occur. This eventually led Jenny into the world of functional movements and mobility, where she took her fist mobility training with Matt Phippen in 2021. This training opened up the way Jenny approaches movement, integrating mobility training into her classes to help students find and control new ranges of pain free motion in the body and establish the stabilization of joints. Jenny works with groups and individual students to help them stay healthy in their bodies so they can continue doing what they love for years to come.
