Get ready to dig into the past and learn all about Earth's history and find your own fossils with geologist and educator Steve Tchozeski! He will explain the history of the Earth and all that fossils tell us about Earth's past life in an interactive and exciting presentation. Then kids have a chance to find- and keep!- their own fossils!
Steve taught Earth Science/Geology in Belding for 32 years and has a Masters in Geology from Michigan State University. He now travels extensively to collet rocks, minerals and fossils, and enjoys sharing his finds and knowledge with students of all ages. Steve believes that rocks, minerals, and fossils are a wonderful way to learn about our environment and planet and to become stewards of our Earth.
