About this Event
The ‘Undertaking Investigations and an introduction to Disciplinary processes’ training is a full day training which supports those working in sport to gain a better understanding of the investigation process. Using a case study the training explores the investigation process from start to finish, along with providing guidance and processes that can support SGBs to effectively manage investigations and support those involved. The training will then end with an introduction to disciplinary process and the role the investigator plays in a hearing. This training provides an opportunity to share learnings across SGBs and establish best practice when undertaking an investigation.
This training is initially aimed at anyone within Scottish Governing bodies of sport that will be involved in managing wellbeing and protection concerns. When a wellbeing and protection concern arises, it is necessary for more than one individual from an organisation to be involved. We would therefore recommend that more than one individual from your organisation attends the training.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided at this event.
