Texas voters approved a constitutional amendment in November to invest $3 billion in dementia research over the next decade, with the aim of making Texas a national leader in dementia research and prevention. Confirmed speakers include Karen Fingerman, professor of human development and family sciences and director of the Texas Aging and Longevity Center at The University of Texas at Austin. Additional speakers will be announced soon.
