About this Event

Join us for a training session led by Anita Gagen, Team Manager at The Matthew Project. The Matthew Project supports young people affected by substance use across Norfolk. With more than 25 years of experience in youth work and working directly with young people in a variety of settings, Anita brings a wealth of practical strategies and valuable expertise.

This training is designed to give you the knowledge and confidence to better understand substance use among children and young people.

In this session, you will:

  • Learn about different types of substances
  • Understand the risks posed by specific substances, including cannabis, alcohol, ketamine, MDMA, and illicit vaping
  • Develop knowledge of local trends affecting children and young people
  • Identify the different stages of drug use

This session is ideal for professionals working with young people who want to deepen their understanding of substances and strengthen their practice.

Parking is not available for this training. At The Matthew Project, spaces are prioritised for service users attending appointments and those with accessibility needs.
