How easy is it to design an interior that sounds as good as it looks?

Hint… it’s not easy, unless you understand acoustic fundamentals. This presentation aims to give you exactly that – a thorough but not too heavy foundation into effective acoustic workspace design.

What will I learn?

We will lead you through acoustic terminology, AS standards, correct specification approaches, and the importance of testing. We’ll also offer insight into what to avoid and what level of treatment you need.

By the end of this presentation, you should feel more confident discussing acoustics. You’ll know the difference between sound absorption and sound insulation, and the importance of independent testing. You’ll also know what to look out for if performance is not as expected on site.
