Understanding Ho-Chunk Native American Education and Values - Grade 9-12

🎓 The Understanding Ho-Chunk Native American Education and Values Camp offers a unique opportunity for participants to explore the intersection of Ho-Chunk culture and academic success. 🌟 Through engaging, hands-on activities like creating pinch pots 🏺, weaving baskets 🧺, and beadwork 💎, participants will develop valuable lifelong skills, cultivate patience, and gain a deeper understanding of the rich connection between American history 📜 and Ho-Chunk heritage. 🌿

In addition to cultural workshops, the camp includes guided tours 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ of the Human & Protective Services and Truax Main Campus. 🏫 These tours will feature enriching activities that delve into the Ho-Chunk removal experience 🌍, traditional foods 🍲, and promote a greater appreciation for diverse trades and cultures. 🤝🌎
