π The Understanding Ho-Chunk Native American Education and Values Camp offers a unique opportunity for participants to explore the intersection of Ho-Chunk culture and academic success. π Through engaging, hands-on activities like creating pinch pots πΊ, weaving baskets π§Ί, and beadwork π, participants will develop valuable lifelong skills, cultivate patience, and gain a deeper understanding of the rich connection between American history π and Ho-Chunk heritage. πΏ
In addition to cultural workshops, the camp includes guided tours πΆββοΈπΆββοΈ of the Human & Protective Services and Truax Main Campus. π« These tours will feature enriching activities that delve into the Ho-Chunk removal experience π, traditional foods π², and promote a greater appreciation for diverse trades and cultures. π€π
