Understanding Healthy Aging: A Community Conversation on Brain Health

The Second Church Meeting House in Dorchester is pleased to host a community learning opportunity on brain health and healthy aging in partnership with physicians from Massachusetts General Hospital’s PEERS Research Group.

Together, we’ll explore how mental health, cognition, and memory change over time, what current research can teach us about these processes, and practical strategies for supporting brain wellness. The session will also address ways to cope with challenges, individually, with family members, and as a broader community.

This event is open to anyone who is curious about mental health and the aging process, whether you are navigating these questions personally, supporting a loved one, or simply interested in learning more with others in a welcoming space. The presentation will conclude with an open Q&A over a light lunch.
