Understanding Diabetes: Diabetes Basics

Come join us at the Health Education Center (HEC) for an informative and supportive Diabetes Basics Workshop. Whether you are newly diagnosed, caring for a loved one, or simply want to learn more, this session is a great place to start.

Led by experienced health educators, this workshop will cover:

• The different types of diabetes
• How to monitor blood sugar levels
• Making healthy food choices
• The role of physical activity
• Tips to prevent complications and manage symptoms

This is also a chance to ask questions, share your experiences, and leave with practical tips to support a healthier life.
