About this Event
This three day course will be on Wednesday 7th, 14th and 21st June from 9:30-2:30.
Our course is free to anyone over the age of 19 who works, lives or volunteers in County Durham.
This three-day workshop will touch on the different additional needs’ children with Autism, ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder) and PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance), may have. We will look at each one in more detail and how we can support these children, their families, and ourselves.
We will also learn about sensory triggers, appropriate regulations for each one and the difference between meltdowns and burnouts.
Upon completion you will receive a certificate.
