Understanding Anti-Indigenous Racism

Event Held in CN Theatre (5-142)

Join us for an evening of learning through the Understanding Anti-Indigenous Racism: Video Series Launch & Community Dialogue. This event will bring together students, staff, faculty and community members to view the creation of anti-Indigenous racism educational videos. Topics will explore anti-Indigenous racism, Indigenous perspectives, lived experience, and what needs to happen for institutional change. The evening will feature Shelby LaFramboise, who will talk about the film’s accompanying education guide. The screening and discussion will provide the opportunity to engage with the educational resources and consider how learning about anti-Indigenous racism can inform dialogue and action.
