Session 4: Understanding and Applying Mixed Methodologies and Designs
Friday, April 25, 2025
9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Workshop to take place in-person at United Way Winnipeg (580 Main Street)
Cost to register: $80 per person
In today’s fast-paced and results-oriented world, it is essential for nonprofit and charitable organizations to effectively measure their impact, track progress, and optimize program delivery.
United Way Winnipeg’s Nonprofit Learning Centre is pleased to partner with the Canadian Evaluation Society, Manitoba Chapter to bring you a six-part workshop series on evaluation tools. Each workshop is designed to provide nonprofit professionals with the practical skills and knowledge needed to design, implement, and analyze high-quality evaluations. Each session is independent, so participants can choose to attend the workshops most relevant to their needs. Whether you're new to evaluation or looking to enhance your current practices, this series will equip you with the tools to make data-driven decisions and demonstrate your organization’s effectiveness.
Workshop Overview
Participants will learn the uses of both quantitative and qualitative approaches, the role this dual approach plays in evaluation design, and when and how these two approaches can be most helpful to gathering useful information towards identifying impact. Participants will have the opportunity to work through examples.
