The ASAM Criteria (4th Edition) is the most widely used lens for SUD assessment and determining which level of care is appropriate for clients. This training will help clinicians have a basic understanding of each of the six ASAM Dimensions and how they can help you with your SUD assessment skills.
This event will be hosted online via Zoom and is eligible for 1.5 MCBAP Specific CEs. Completion of a post test evaluation will be required in order to obtain a CE certificate.
About the trainer: Matthew Baron MA LPC CAADC is a licensed counselor and SUD clinician since 2012. He has worked extensively in the field of substance abuse at multiple levels of care and has also taught Addiction Studies at the University of Detroit Mercy. He is currently the owner/therapist at Redefined Counseling Services PLLC in Troy, MI
