Undersea Worlds In Watercolors

We’ll explore the colors of the sea, its animals, and their underwater worlds. You will experiment with many techniques as you create fun, easy paintings that use the power of color, light, and texture to capture the beauty of sea creatures and their underwater environment. The classes are suitable for the absolute beginner and experienced watercolorists.
​Week 1: Wednesday, August 5 12-3 PM
Coral Reefs & Sea Plants:Explore texture and movement while painting coral, seaweed, and underwater plants.
Week 2: Wednesday, August 12 12-3 PM
Playful Sea Lions: Capture the motion &personality of sea lions swimming underwater using loose brushwork &colors.
Week 3: Wednesday, August 19 12-3 PM
Floating Jellyfish: Paint translucent jellyfish drifting through the water while practicing glow, transparency, & movement.
Week 4: Wednesday, August 26 12-3 PM
Colorful Tropical Fish: Combine color and light to paint colorful fish using easy shapes and bold, expressive color.
