Hailing from the enchanting landscapes of Iceland but based today in Tampa, Bistro Boy (Frosti Jonsson) is a maestro of ambient-infused soundscapes and downtempo electronica. Named “one of the most creative Icelandic electronic projects that can use sounds to remove weight and gravity from reality", his music transcends boundaries, weaving a sonic tapestry that transports listeners to otherworldly realms.We met Bistro Boy through our radio WECU in 2021, and you can also find his music on our project and release "The 88 Notes - Series 2" from 2023, which surely means we love to keep an eye on him. This year has been particularly intense for the artist, who recently completed a series of concert dates across Europe performing alongside the artist X.U.L. Both are accomplished multi-instrumentalists, showcasing their versatility and musical talents on stage. Looking ahead, we are hopeful they will have the opportunity to embark on more extensive tours in the future, allowing them to further share their craft with audiences around the world.
We are thrilled to have Bistro Boy on stage at Propaganda Lake Worth, with a minimalist setup, incorporating more electronic elements and a touch of underground sound!
