A Golden Hour Photo Meetup at the Plano Balloon Festival!

Mark your calendars, shutterbugs — Aledo Aperture is heading to Plano for one of the most photogenic nights of the year!
Join us Friday evening, September 18th, as we ascend to the Plano Balloon Festival for a twilight photo meetup like no other. As the sun dips low and the hot air balloons begin to glow against the evening sky, we'll be there capturing every golden, glowing, larger-than-life moment together!
Whether you're chasing silhouettes, playing with long exposures, or just looking for an excuse to hang out with fellow photographers under an umbrella of glowing giants — this one's for you.
🎟️ What to expect:
-Golden hour into blue hour — prime lighting conditions for balloon glow shots
-A laid-back, meet-up vibe — all skill levels welcome
-Tips and hands-on camera assistance from the Aledo Aperture team
-Plenty of once-a-year photo ops (balloon glow nights don't come around often!)
🎒 What to bring:
-Tripods are highly recommended — you'll want the stability once the light gets low
-A variety of lenses — wide-angle through medium length will cover you for both the big balloon-field shots and closer detail work

Parking: Parking is $15…consider taking DART to the Parker Road Station and carpooling/Uber to the event.

✨ Bonus opportunity: Consider staying over for Saturday morning, 9/19, for the balloon launch at 7:00 AM — an entirely different (and equally stunning) photo opportunity, with balloons lifting off right at sunrise….BIG COLOR!
