We are super excited to present Under the Rocks, a Kelowna based bluegrass band for a special concert. UTR has emerged as one of Canada's premier bluegrass bands and this concert is part of their tour for their newly released album "Honest Try". The band was recently selected by Wintergrass Music Festival as the 2024 Spark Band, which recognizes up-and-coming bluegrass musicians. UTR features Jordan Klassen (guitar), Chloe Davidson (fiddle), Chris Baxter (banjo and mandolin) and Nils Loewen (bass). The band makes a big sound that tips its cap to tradition while incorporating singer-songwriter music intentionally put together with clever, inventive song arrangements, emotive instrumental breaks and powerful vocal harmony. With joyful hoots and hollers, clever and inventive song arrangements, instrumental breaks and powerful vocal harmonies, Under the Rocks Band lays out heartfelt, talented string music with uplifting and entertaining energy.

Note: Our regular jams (bluegrass and old time) will be cancelled for this special concert.
Doors at 7:30 pm
Intermission ~9:00pm. Coffee/Tea and selection of baked treats will be offered.
