Under Armour Next Elite 24

For the first time since 2016, the UA Next Elite 24 event returns to the summer grassroots calendar and will take place at Northerly Island on Friday, August 12. This event brings in 24 of the best girls and boys high school basketball players from around the country, with the rosters being announced in the coming weeks. The inaugural girl’s game will begin at 4pm and the boys at 6pm with a skill competition scheduled between the games. Both games will be televised on ESPNU. In its short history, six former players have been selected No. 1 overall in the NBA Draft (John Wall, 2010; Kyrie Irving, 2011; Anthony Bennett, 2013; Markelle Fultz, 2017; DeAndre Ayton, 2018; Zion Williamson, 2019), while 20 have been top five selections.
