Come and gather with us and our sweet local community for a beach yoga practice. Be nourished by the elements, intentional movement, curated music for your journey, and guidance from our teachers.The intention of this class is to connect us back to the healing power of nature, and to create a space for you to feel free and safe to explore the practice of yoga. Our pillars for our practice include heartful intention, creative, nourishing movement, and celebrating the power of community practicing together.We’ve been hosting these weekend morning classes at Baker beach for 8 years now! Join our weekend ritual experience. With views of the Golden Gate Bridge, resting your eyes on the waves as you practice, and watching birds soar above. It’s truly a magical experience to immerse yourself fully in the beauty of San Francisco.The beach flow class is our signature peaceful, centering, rejuvenating class. Our teachers will guide you through a creative, accessible vinyasa flow, rooted in deep breathing and movement designed to open your body, build strength and flexibility. The music for this class is a blend of jazzy, down-tempo, and vibes that are calming and uplifting. Class will end with savasana, soaking in the final moments of the incredible surroundings.This class is a weekend local favorite where everyone joins - from dedicated yoga practitioners, to family and dogs too :) It’s truly a magical experience to immerse yourself fully in the beauty of San Francisco.

About your teacher, Julie:

I started Outdoor Yoga in 2016 with a desire to spend more time soaking in the beauty of nature, practicing healing movement, and gathering in community. My beach classes move at a slow, steady, and rhythmic pace. It’s breath focused, heart-centered, and joyful movement to stretch, strengthen and connect to our body temple. I love teaching alignment, in a liberating way - so you can learn in each class, and feel free to move uniquely as you. Join us in one of my favorite places on earth..
