This Valentine’s Day, we invite you to join us for an enlightening and heartwarming program that will explore an extraordinary chapter of early American history. Vince Tripi, a passionate public history educator specializing in LGBTQ+ history, will lead a special presentation titled “Uncovered: A New England Romance.” The program will delve into the remarkable and little-known love story of Charity Bryant and Sylvia Drake, two women who lived together as a same-sex married couple in post-colonial New England.
Join us for an inspiring program that not only uncovers a hidden romance from the past but also celebrates the resilience, love, and authenticity of LGBTQ+ people across time.
