Uncover the Terroir: Cabernet from Bordeaux’s Left Bank
About this Event
Discover the character and diversity of Bordeaux’s Left Bank through three classified growth estates from Margaux, Pauillac, and Haut-Médoc. Shaped by Cabernet Sauvignon-led blends and the gravelly soils of the Médoc, these wines reflect the structure, elegance, and ageing potential that define the region’s winemaking heritage.
This guided tasting explores how vintage, terroir, and estate style influence the expression of Left Bank Bordeaux across different appellations and classifications.
Featured Wines:
- Château Cantemerle, 5th Growth, Grand Cru Classé 2017 — From Haut-Médoc, Château Cantemerle offers a refined and approachable style, with notes of blackcurrant, cedar, and subtle spice supported by fresh acidity and polished tannins.
- Château Giscours, 3rd Growth, Grand Cru Classé 2022 — A Margaux estate known for elegance and aromatic complexity, Château Giscours shows layered dark fruit, floral notes, and fine structure with impressive balance and precision.
- Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste, 5th Growth, Grand Cru Classé 2018 — From Pauillac, this Cabernet-driven wine delivers cassis, graphite, and tobacco notes with firm tannins and a long, structured finish characteristic of the appellation.
Each tasting includes a 40ml pour of every featured wine.
