Uncle Vanya: Staged Reading

Chekov's Uncle Vanya explores the disillusionment of a promising life unfulfilled, the heartbreak of unrequited love, and the will to keep onward in a society that is crumbling. Poignant, but also sardonically funny, this play both pokes fun at the foibles of a family stuck together in the country for the summer, and invites us to see them with compassion.
