Led by guitarist and vocalist Kevin A. Starrs, Uncle Acid & the Deadbeats forge a dark, psychedelic take on heavy rock that channels early Black Sabbath while twisting it through lo-fi production and moody melodies. From their garage-born debut Vol. 1 to the gritty horror-soaked riffs of The Night Creeper and the dystopian heft of Wasteland, the band blends doom-laden riffs, swirling psychedelia, and cinematic sensibilities. 2024’s Nell’ Ora Blu saw them pivot into evocative instrumental soundscapes, conjuring the feel of a 1970s Italian thriller. Their evolving sound balances menace, melody, and imagination with relentless intensity.
Support REZN is a Chicago-based quartet fusing underground metal’s stark intensity with psychedelic, prog, and shoegaze textures. Fiercely independent and sonically uncompromising, they’ve self-released four acclaimed albums, garnering vinyl pressings, cult followings, and international festival appearances.
