Join us for an evening of deep conversation with strangers, where we'll dig into meaning, mortality, and what makes a life well lived. We're collaborating with Melanie Mayell of the Christchurch Death Cafe for this special event - all of the research-backed connection goodness of an Unchatter event with a zesty twist of existential curiosity!
This is a warm, gentle space to talk openly about death and what our own mortality can teach us about being here and how we really want to spend our time.
Don't worry, it's not all skeletons & black roses - we'll have a few fun exercises to bring a bit of levity to the deep & meaningful!

· What should I bring?
Curiosity, kindness, and an open heart.
· Do I need to print my ticket?
Just bring the email verification you received with the QR code. (Not to worry, we can still check you in manually if you forget!)
· What if I'm an introvert who hates parties?
No sweat! We've tailored every part of the evening to make you feel like you belong, whether you love all-night ragers or quiet corners. We'll be keeping a special eye out for folks who might be feeling awkward. The whole point of this event is meaningful connection, and we'll make sure you get it!
· What if I'm an extrovert who's a pro at this connection stuff?
Fabulous! The real magic happens when we've got a beautiful blend of personalities and connection styles.
· Do I need to register or do you accept walk-ins on the day of the event?
Please register in advance, as we don't take walk-ins or sales at the door. We want you to have an experience that feels rich and meaningful, so we limit the number of attendees to make it an intimate gathering. This also allows us to reduce the time spent on check-in and jump right into the juicy stuff!
· What's the difference between waged, unwaged, and koha?
Waged tickets are for folks who are employed, and unwaged tickets are for students and those who aren't working full-time. You can also contribute a koha amount so we can provide tickets to people who wouldn't be able to attend otherwise. The experience is the same regardless of your ticket type; we just want it to be accessible for everyone.
· What if I can't afford a ticket?
Drop us a line and we'll make it happen.
· When should I arrive?
Doors open at 5:45. Please arrive in plenty of time to grab a beverage, get settled, and be ready to kick things off by 6:15. It's important to attend at the beginning when we set the stage for the evening.
