?If you’ve been looking for an excuse to dress up in your fancy suits and gowns, then come out to UNC VSA’s first ever Charity Gala!??Mark your calendars for Sunday, March 6th and meet us at the Great Hall in the UNC Student Union to enjoy dinner and a show!
Our Charity Gala is held in efforts to support our Collective Philanthropy Project, the Asian Prisoner Support Committee (APSC), which aims to provide direct support for API prisoners and raise awareness about the growing number of imprisoned and detained Asian Pacific Islanders. ?✨The theme of our gala this year is “Reflections”. There is a saying that “the water is deeper than what it reflects”. On the surface of these acts we see a dance or a singing performance.
But beyond the surface, these performances display the years of cultural history that is being reflected many generations later. Our charity gala will display all these different reflections for you to enjoy while supporting a great cause.
