We are located near the intersection of 15-501 and I-40 and includes free parking. Access to Eastowne is provided by the CL route of Chapel Hill transit.







We're hiring experienced Registered Nurses (RN), a Nursing Coordinator, an RN Clinical Nurse Education Specialist, Licensed Practice Nurses (LPN), Endoscopy Techs (ET), Neurodiagnostic Techs (NDT), and Medical Assistants, Certified (CMA).

RN Clinical Nurse II Qualifications:


Requires graduation from a state-accredited school of professional nursing and one year of nursing experience. Must be licensed to practice as a registered nurse in the State of North Carolina by the NC Board of Nursing at time of hire.

If hired after January 6, 2014, must be enrolled in an accredited program within four years of employment, and obtain a Bachelor's degree with a major in Nursing or a Master's degree with a major in Nursing within seven years of employment date.

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.





Nursing Coordinator Qualifications:


Graduation from a school of professional nursing

If hired after January 6, 2014, must be enrolled within four years of employment, and obtain a Bachelor's degree with a major in Nursing or a Master's degree with a major in Nursing within seven years of employment date.

Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.

One (1) year of nursing experience.




RN Clinical Nurse Education Specialist Qualifications


Graduation from a state-accredited school of professional nursing.

Bachelor's degree and Master's degree of which one must be in Nursing.

Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.

Certification in area of specialization.

Two (2) years of clinical experience in clinical specialty. Professional development/education experience preferred.




Licensed Practical Nurse Qualifications:


Requires graduation from a state accredited program of practical nurse education including a pharmacology course (or completion of an approved pharmacology course upon graduation) which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities needed for the administration of medications required by the work setting

Licensed to practice as a Practical Nurse (LPN) in the applicable state (NC or VA).





Endoscopy Technician Qualifications



Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program or High School diploma or GED.

If graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program: No licensure or certification required.

If a High School diploma or GED: Licensed as a Nursing Assistant I by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification

One (1) year of relevant health care experience.





Neurodiagnostic Tech Qualifications



Graduation from an acceptable program of Neurophysiology

Registered in one of the following specialty areas:

EEG (Electroencecephalogram- R. EEG T., CLTM)

EP (Evoked Potentials-R. EP T.)

Intra-Operative Monitoring (CNIM)

Nerve Conduction Velocity studies (NCV

Polysomnography (RPSGT)

Registered Sleep Technologist (RST)

If completion of an acceptable program of Neurophysiology: No prior experience required.

If a High School diploma or GED: Two (2) years of experience performing a variety of Sleep or Neurodiagnostics procedures.






Medical Assistant, Certified, Qualifications:


Requires high school diploma or GED.

Completion of a Medical Assisting program accredited by either the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Accreditation Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) is strongly preferred but not required.

Requires Medical Assistant certification by either the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), National Health Career Association (CCMA), National Association of Health Professionals (NRCMA), or National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA).

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification

This is a State position employed by UNC Health Care System.
