UNAPOLOGETIC 2 featuring Roger J. Carter

Four years ago, Roger J. Carter made his mark on Chicago’s art scene with Unapologetic, a striking solo exhibition in Pilsen curated by Artist Replete. Showcasing his now-signature toy soldier portrait series, the debut captivated audiences and cemented Carter as a bold new voice in contemporary art. The overwhelming response sparked a surge of commissions, keeping the artist in high demand and his studio buzzing ever since.

Now, Carter returns to the spotlight with Unapologetic 2, a highly anticipated sequel presented in the heart of downtown Chicago. Expanding beyond his original medium, the new body of work pushes his creative boundaries while honoring the vision that started it all.

The exhibition opens to the public on August 30th from 5–8pm, inviting both longtime admirers and new audiences to experience the evolution of an artist unafraid to make a statement.
