The Ultimate Ninja Athlete Association (UNAA) is one of the largest and most established ninja warrior style obstacle course racing leagues in the world. We're excited to be hosting a Season 9 Regional at Ninja U Cedar Falls. To compete at this competition, you must have qualified at a sanctioned UNAA Area Qualifier.This event is hosted by Ninja U in Cedar Falls, Iowa and is sanctioned by UNAA. The course is designed by Ninja U course designers and veteran athletes in line with the Ultimate Ninja Athlete Association (UNAA) for the best ninja experience possible.
UNAA Regional
This Regional will advance the TOP 3 or TOP 20% from each division to World Finals. This season's UNAA Finals are being held in Anaheim, California July 24th-28th. Click here for more info on World Finals!
Athletes must CHOOSE ONE Class to compete in and will remain in that class for duration of the season. 13+ may compete in Amateur or Pro class if they so choose, but will HAVE to remain in the that class for duration of season. Competing in multiple classes in NOT allowed.
Prices
$60 Early Bird Competitor (includes $10 that goes to UNAA)
$65 after Thursday, April 11th
$70 after Thursday, April 18th
Registration ends at midnight on the Wednesday before the competition (April 24th). There will be no refunds.
Competitor categories will be capped. Please sign up early to guarantee a spot!
Waivers
Please sign the Ninja U waiver - https://ninjau.com/waiver *if you've never been to Ninja\U before!

Need To Know
Spectators
Cost is $5 at the door.
Spectators must sign a waiver. It is best to do this ahead of time. www.ninjau.com/waiver. Young kids spectating may play in our Little Ninjas area or upstairs in our party area.
Please do not come to the gym if you or your child are coughing, sneezing, have a temperature, or are feeling sick. If you have been around someone who is Covid positive we also ask that you stay home. If you have underlying health conditions or are 60+ years old, we encourage you to stay home.
Liquid chalk is recommended for competitor use due to its high alcohol content for sanitizing. We will be selling small bottles of liquid chalk for $6 or large bottles for $18.
The course walk-through will be a video. We will share videos with everyone the night before the competition via email.
Chalk
General climbing chalk and general athletic tape are allowed. We recommend liquid chalk as it is alcohol-based so also acts as a sanitizer. Ninja\U does sell small liquid chalk bottles for $6 and large for $18.

All podium spots get a UNAA medal!
There will be a prize table for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place in each category to choose from!

Open Gym
Participants may attend open gym on Friday between 10-7pm or Saturday between 10am-1pm for $15 admission. (No open gym appointments are necessary! Just have your Ninja\U waiver done & come on in!)
