Un paseo por el bosque - Exposición pintura

En la exposición Un paseo por el bosque, la artista estadounidense Susan Parker Martin sumerge al espectador en un espacio vibrante y vital, que interpela los sentidos y lo lleva a sentir la brisa y la niebla en un constante diálogo entre el espacio interior y exterior. Sus cuadros, grandes acuarelas, invitan a la introspección y a la apreciación de la naturaleza. La exposición coincide con el leitmotiv del Barcelona Festival Of Song en su vigésima edición, reconociéndose como un ser vivo, un árbol cuyas ramas se elevan llevando la canción artística latinoamericana e ibérica por el mundo.

Antes de la inauguración de la exposición se presenta el concierto de guitarra Habano y Mojito con el afamado guitarrista, dos veces nominado al Grammy, José Lezcano. Duranta la inauguración se ofrecerá una copa de vino.

In the exhibition A Walk in the Woods, American artist Susan Parker Martin immerses the viewer in a vibrant and vital space that engages the senses, evoking the feeling of breeze and mist in a constant dialogue between interior and exterior spaces. Her large watercolors invite introspection and appreciation of nature. The exhibition aligns with the leitmotif of the 20th edition of the BFOS, recognizing itself as a living being, a tree whose branches rise, spreading Latin American and Iberian art song around the world.

In the artist's words: "In this body of work I explore my love of forests and woodlands. The trails that lead through them hide or reveal mysteries and possibilities. I am drawn to what can be seen and what is invisible to the human eye whether it’s high in the canopy, too tiny to be observed, under a fallen log, deep in the forest, around the next bend or cloaked in atmosphere. Fog in woodlands is especially intriguing with the hidden vistas it creates. A path leading toward a light, a turning toward a dark recess or a parting of the mist takes me into these scenes and challenges me to describe them in my work. These paintings are self-portraits of my yearning and captivation with the natural world."
