Umu Nwanyi Egwu: Igbo Dance Class

Join Umu Nwanyi Egwu, the official women’s dance group of Umu Igbo Éire, for our very first Igbo Dance Class!

Whether you’re completely new to Igbo dance or have danced before, this beginner-friendly class is all about having fun, learning together, and connecting with other Igbo women in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Wear comfortable clothing, bring your energy, and get ready to gbaa egwu! 💃🏾

If you’d like, you’re also welcome to bring a handkerchief and a wrapper (akwa) to dance with. These are completely optional, so don’t worry if you don’t have them.
