Join the UMN New Music Ensemble for a free concert full of contemporary-classical chamber music hosted by MetroNOME Brewery!
The University of Minnesota New Music Ensemble is a student-led ensemble dedicated to providing a space for students to explore the practice and creation of new music. Prior to the creation of the ensemble, the University of Minnesota School of Music provided few opportunities for students wishing to collaborate on the performance of contemporary classical art music from the 20th and 21st centuries. The New Music Ensemble aims to fulfill current and urgent student needs for the study of new music by providing the opportunity.
