For the second year Grace UMC will host an UMCOR Hygiene Kit Assembly event in the Great Hall. Eight other Michiana area UMC churches will join us to assemble 500 kits for people around the world who have experienced some type of disaster. How can you help?~Donate hand towels between now and April 26. 500 are needed and can be placed in the collection bins marked " UMCOR Hygiene Kit Event Donations" at the main church door and under the table in the Mission Corner of the Welcome Center. Towel specifications ==> towels must be 15-17" wide and 25-27"
in length. Plain solid color or striped. No kitchen dish towels or towels with decorations.
~Plan to join in the fun, fellowship and service on April 26 as kits are assembled. The event will start with lunch, followed by kit assembly.
~Donate monetarily to off-set the $2/kit charge for warehousing the kits and purchasing the toothpaste that is added to the kits just before they are shipped to a disaster. Please clearly mark on the offering envelope or the check memo line or Breeze "Notes" field that the donation is for "UMCOR Hygiene Kit Assembly Event."
