Join Umber for an intimate afternoon conversation in Oakland with collage artists featured in The Collage Edition. The program focuses on collage-making, design, and creative expression rooted in culture, moderated by Umber founder Mike Nicholls.

Featured Guests

• Anthony R. Grant — Bay Area-based collage artist who blends digital and analog techniques to create work rooted in vintage African American publications, hip-hop, and modern society. He invites viewers to find their own meaning in the imagery.
• Lyn Patterson — Storyteller and visual artist based in Oakland, CA. Inspired by the Black diaspora, she uses visual mediums to bring her words to life and place texts in conversation with one another.

The conversation is grounded in the spirit of The Collage Edition, exploring collage-making as a practice rooted in creativity, preservation, and storytelling.
