Den italienske koreografen Cristina Kristal Rizzo gjester Norge for første gang med forestillingen ULTRAS sleeping dances, som vises på Høstscenas åpningsdag. Rizzo har siden 1990-tallet vært en sentral skikkelse i italiensk scenekunst, kjent for sin eksperimentelle koreografi. Forestillingen er en drømmende reise i grenselandet mellom søvn og virkelighet, med et lydbilde preget av popkulturelle referanser.
ULTRAS sleeping dances inviterer publikum til å reflektere over kroppens rolle i samfunnet – en poetisk og kraftfull opplevelse.

Italian choreographer Cristina Kristal Rizzo makes her Norwegian debut with ULTRAS sleeping dances, presented on the festival's opening day. A key figure in Italian performance art since the 1990s, Rizzo is known for her experimental choreography.
This hypnotic piece explores the space between sleep and reality, set to a pop-cultural soundscape. It’s a poetic and powerful reflection on the body’s role in society.
