“Spirit and Spectacle” -- violin and piano recital featuring Mark Peskanov, violin, and Doris Stevenson, piano.
About this Event

Join us on June 29 for “Spirit and Spectacle,” an emotional and expressive recital featuring violinist Mark Peskanov and pianist Doris Stevenson with works by Bach, Bloch, Franck, and Sarasate.

A deeply emotional, virtuosic, and romantic program, the works explore profound spirituality (Bloch), intense passion and cyclic form (Franck), architectural mastery (Bach), and fiery showmanship (Sarasate).

This series is generously provided by the Ullendorff family in loving memory of their beloved parents "Uli" and Regina Ullendorff.

Highlights of the program:

Bloch: Nigun

Franck: Sonata in A Major

Bach: Chaconne from Partita No. 2 in D minor

Sarasate: Carmen Fantasy
