The Ulladulla Blessing of the Fleet Festival is back with a bang in 2023. After 3 years without the iconic show-stopping, highway-closing colourful Float Parade, Easter 2023’s festival will boast a larger Parade than ever, with princesses from the past 3 years invited to join in, a new route and an earlier start time of 10:30am.The floats will be finishing in the carpark behind the Riviera arcade.
There will be live music and market stalls, show bags and rides starting from 9am, out the front of the Civic Centre.
The local Apex Club are hosting the famous Greasy Pole and Tug O War by the Harbour foreshore, from 3pm.
We will have a Scottish Tattoo performance on the Hwy at 2pm.
The Catholic 9am Easter Service will be held on the wharf precinct stage, (not at Church). Father Michael will perform the Blessing Ceremony on the wharf at 1pm.
There will be market stalls all day, both around the wharf area and in front of the Civic Centre.
The Festival will kick off with an Easter Egg Hunt at 8:30am, between the sea pool and marine rescue building.
There will be a Kids Club running inside the Civic Centre.
From 2pm, Phil Harte will do seafood cooking demonstrations on the wharf and from 3pm, on the wharf, we will have live music leading the crowd into the 6pm grand finale spectacular fireworks.
