Registration for the Union Lawyers and Industrial Officers (ULIO) NSW Conference 2026 is now open!
When: Tuesday 24 and Wednesday 25 February 2026

- Employees of unions and not for profit organisations: $210
- Lawyers in private practice working for Unions: $360

2026 Conference Preview
Our full conference program will be announced in December 2025, however, we’re delighted to share the following program preview:
- An opening address by Vice President Asbury of the Fair Work Commission.
- An introduction to the Industrial Court of New South Wales with His Honour the Hon. Justice David Chin.
- Giridharan Sivaraman, Race Discrimination Commissioner, and Dr James Cockayne, New South Wales Anti-Slavery Commissioner will provide an overview of contemporary issues in racial discrimination and modern slavery laws.
- plus sessions with Sophie Farthing, Head of the Responsible Technology Program at UTS Human Technology Institute on the impact of AI technology and workplace surveillance on freedom of association and Eliza Sarlos, Barrister, Wardell Chambers on opportunities for unions arising from recent case law.
