This high-level roundtable will convene senior UK and Singapore-based architectural leaders, policymakers, and industry stakeholders to explore the evolving global built environment landscape.
Timed to coincide with Chris Williamson’s visit to Singapore during IBEW, the session will spotlight the UK’s architectural strengths, its role in international markets, and the opportunities and challenges shaping collaboration across Asia—particularly in China and Southeast Asia.
The discussion will examine key themes including master planning, infrastructure delivery, productivity in the trades, and the role of standards in driving quality and efficiency. Participants will share insights into current market dynamics, including where UK expertise is adding value globally, where it faces barriers, and how institutions such as RIBA and UK infrastructure bodies are positioning themselves for future growth.
This high-level discussion will bring together senior architects, policymakers, industry leaders, and key stakeholders from the UK, Singapore and China to explore the evolving built environment landscape across Asia.
