Celebrate World Ukulele Day (a few days early) at the Bay!
Enjoy an open strum for all level players, hosted by The Suncoast Sand Fleas and Aloha Ukulele.
Bring your uke, a stand, a chair, and music!
About
The Suncoast Sand Fleas are an upbeat, volunteer-led group with members based in Sarasota, Charlotte and Manatee counties. The organization encourages and supports ukulele-related activities, including strum-alongs, jams, lessons, open mic events, house concerts, sales events, and more.

The Lakewood Ranch Aloha Ukulele Club is a lively community group for all ages and skill levels, dedicated to playing, learning, singing, and performing joyful ukulele music.
Know Before You Go:
- Free parking is located around the site— along Blvd of the Arts and Van Wezel Way, and in front of the Van Wezel, Municipal Auditorium and Blue Pagoda. Please avoid parking in designated Sarasota Orchestra parking areas.
- Some events attract large crowds: Arrive early, be kind, and please be patient.
- All pets must be non-aggressive and on a leash at all times. Owners are expected to pick up after their pets.
